Video Scriptwriting & Creative Direction

Epicor manufacturing video series

The Ask

The Epicor field marketing team wanted to create two series of animated videos using our in-house writing team and third-party video vendor. My direct report and I wrote and approved all scripts for both the customer testimonial series (3 videos) and product feature series (10+ videos) using existing marketing materials and interviews with subject-matter experts. After we wrote the scripts, I reviewed and approved graphics, storyboards, audio, animations, and final videos.

The Goal

The field marketing team wanted to equip our manufacturing industry sales force with short videos to introduce product features and highlight customers' success. They also used these videos in their early-mid-funnel email campaigns.

The Process

To achieve our goals, I:

  • Met with the field marketing project lead to kick off the project and identify source materials for scriptwriting

  • Wrote and/or reviewed scripts for all videos

  • Made edits based on subject-matter expert feedback

  • Reviewed and approved storyboards

  • Reviewed and approved audio

  • Reviewed and approved animations

  • Approved final videos

The Results

The manufacturing video series has more than 4,500 views on YouTube, with additional traffic on epicor.com.
